Meet Our Guest Speaker: Dr. Michele Pasley – Pastor, Professor, and Spiritual Mentor

Rooted in Faith. Flourishing in Fellowship."

We are honored to welcome Dr. Michele Pasley as our 2025 retreat speaker for Where Friends Gather.

Dr. Michele Pasley is a devoted follower of Christ, a gifted communicator, and a seasoned leader in ministry and higher education. She currently serves as a full-time faculty member in the College of Theology at Grand Canyon University, where she teaches courses in spiritual formation, Christian worldview, biblical studies, and ministry leadership. Michele holds a Doctor of Ministry in Spiritual Formation and Missional Ecclesiology from Fuller Theological Seminary, along with a Master of Arts in Theology and a bachelor’s degree in Applied Communications.

Michele’s ministry spans over three decades and includes serving as an interim senior pastor, director of spiritual formation and worship arts, and faculty advisor to ministry-focused student groups. She has preached, mentored, and led within the local church and university communities, and she regularly contributes to spiritual formation through writing, including her involvement with GCU’s “Theology Thursday” blog series.

Her heart for helping others flourish spiritually is evident in her teaching, writing, and leadership. With a life rooted in prayer and service, Michele invites others to deepen their walk with Christ through practices that bring peace, purpose, and connection.

As we gather this year from across the Southwest, Dr. Pasley will guide us into a deeper encounter with God and meaningful friendships with one another. We are excited for what God will do through her ministry during this special retreat.
